Screw Cupid wins the Audience Award for Best Picture at the Delray Beach Film Festival! Posted: May 15, 05:26 PM

WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER!

After what was already a great week of beautiful weather, killer parties (seriously, if you haven’t gone to the Delray Beach Film Festival before, mark it on your calendars for next year, an amazing lineup, great guests, and the parties, oh the parties, I maybe slept for 4 hours the entire week I was there), and a sold-out screening of Screw Cupid (what’s the deal with these parenthetical asides? I must really love them, anyway, we filled a 330 seat theater, even the balcony was full. Go us), the film was then awarded with the Audience Award for Best Picture!

You like us! You really like us! Thanks to everyone who attended and voted for the film. To old friends, it was good to see you again, and to new ones, welcome!
Will be putting up pictures from the festival as well as clips from inside the theater during the screening and my Q and A afterwards, soon. Also, got a ton of great press and reviews of the film from The Sun Sentinel, Filmstew.com, and Atlantic Ave. Magazine that I’ll be sure to have scanned and uploaded onto the site shortly, which reminds me, should probably put a “Press” section on the site.
